HJGP EPUB to Single-File HTML

A script that converts the EPUB version of *A Handbook of Japanese Grammar Patterns* (HJGP) into a single-file HTML document that you can open directly in your browser.

Features

- Uses the EPUB as input (~40 more grammar points than the MDX)

- Single-file HTML output (~5.5MB)

- Retains original content formatting from the book

- Ctrl+F the entire book or use the sidebar to jump to/filter headwords and grammar patterns

- Dark + light mode toggle, responsive layout, header links on hover, and collapsible TOC

Usage

1. Clone the repository

2. Run: python convert-hjgp-epub-to-html.py /path/to/book/here.epub

3. Open up ./dist/index.html in your browser.
