JMdict Plaintext & Yomitan Setup
A streamlined, bloat-free plaintext version of JMdict designed for clean Japanese sentence mining. Strips away excessive CSS and unnecessary tags (like rare star/ichi tags, dialects, and notes) while keeping the essentials.

Script Usage
1. Download JMdict_english_without_proper_names.zip from yomidevs/jmdict-yomitan releases.
2. Place the zip file in the same folder as the script.
3. Run the script to generate JMdictPlainText.zip.
*(Note: The output dictionary is named "JMdict" by default, so you may need to edit index.json if there are naming conflicts).*
