Kanji Punt Gun
I? OCR? Texthooking? GSM? What are you talking about? Oh that reminds me, have you learned skip codes yet or are you still working on getting the radicals down?
I just saw this cool tool that lets you search kanji radicals, components, four corner code, and skip code all at once!
It even lets you narrow down potential kanji further by filtering the start of words or setting a stroke count range.

Named after the largest shotguns ever built, Kanji Punt Gun provides just about every static visual way possible of searching kanji. All at the same time.
Trying to search kanji by component can be frustrating sometimes. (the "radical search" in most tools is actually a component search) But it's usually the only alternative to using an IME which doesn't work if you dont know the reading or pulling text out of OCR.
While someone experienced at using a component search can get quite quick at it, if there were only a few more filter options it would be so much harder to end up stuck trying to find a character in rare cases. With all the methods provided by Kanji Punt Gun it's almost impossible for that to happen and you should be able to find the character every time.
After loading, the page can run entirely locally. While the page size is fairly optimized for the amount of data contained, it still comes in at about 1.75mb so I recommend saving the page offline to avoid issues trying to load it over bad connections.
(Note: The dataset does not contain literally every kanji in existence, it only has about 13000 total (amount included in each classification system varies). Unfortunately it will not help you find some crazy kanji that became obselete by the 1700s that doesn't even have a unicode representation.)
