An app that lets you create parallel books (bilingual books / parallel corpora) from your own EPUBs.
TL;DR: Take two books, run them through the app, get a bilingual book with matching sentences side by side.
How it works
1. Pick a source book and a target/translation
2. The app splits both into sentences
3. It matches sentences by similarity score so related lines sit next to each other
Handy for beginners who want to jump straight into immersion.
Why it was built
Existing tools felt lacking (e.g. only side-by-side). Default here is popover mode: you read the source text, click a sentence, and the translation pops up.
Demo books are included in the app.
Note
Purely frontend (no backend). Default alignment downloads the smallest decent model, but mpnet base v2 is recommended.
